BOITE POT 3D URIRELAX FR.png

UriRelax,
30 capsules

DESCRIPTION:

Food supplement based on D-Mannose and cranberry extract.

Proanthocyanidins (PAC) from American cranberries (Vaccinum Macrocarpon) reduce the adhesion of pathogenic bacteria to the walls of the urinary tract and promote their elimination through the urine.

Preliminary clinical trials in the United States and Europe show that D-mannose may also have a beneficial effect in cases of urinary tract infections (UTIs).

This food supplement can be useful but in the event of a urinary infection, you must consult your doctor!

WHAT IS IT FOR?

The current hypothesis is that cranberry acts mainly by preventing the adhesion of type 1 and p-fimbriae strains (notably those of E. coli) to the urothelium. Without adhesion, bacteria cannot infect the mucosa (of the urinary tract). (1)

[…] standardized cranberry extract containing (PAC-A) as a dietary supplement was superior to placebo in terms of reducing bacterial adhesion in the urinary tract. (2)
